- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3–4 tbsp milk or cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine warm milk and sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, whisk flour and salt. Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and foamy yeast mixture. Mix until combined.
- Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle, brush with melted butter, sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mix, chocolate chips, and pecans.
- Roll dough tightly from one side into a log; slice into 12 equal pieces.
- Place rolls cut-side up in greased pans; cover and let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating oven to 350°F.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk together glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.
