  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, combine dried fruits and nuts with two tablespoons of flour.
  3. Cream together softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then mix in spices.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt before folding into the wet mixture.
  6. Gently fold in the fruit-nut mixture until evenly distributed.
