- Vegetable or canola oil for frying (enough for about 2 inches of oil)
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes until fork-tender, drain, and mash until smooth.
- Mix in Dark Hot Honey, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
- Fold in shredded cheese and beaten egg until cohesive.
- Shape into uniform balls or patties, about 1-2 inches wide.
- Roll each croquette in panko bread crumbs until coated.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat and fry croquettes until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels before serving.
