  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water (110°F)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in flour and salt until a sticky dough forms. Optionally add garlic powder for extra flavor.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out dough into a rectangle about half an inch thick and cut into strips.
  6. Top each strip with mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with garlic powder and oregano.
  7. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
