  • 1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional toppings: 1 cup shredded lettuce, 1 medium tomato (diced), 1 avocado (sliced), sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough into the baking dish, pressing it down to cover the bottom.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and mix in taco seasoning and water. Cook until heated through.
  4. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the beef mixture.
  5. Pour the beef mixture over the crescent roll base and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
