  • 1/2 cup skyr
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup fresh lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Sriracha sauce for spice
  • Optional: 4 slices cheese (cheddar or blue)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Mix gently and shape into four patties.
  2. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook patties for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned. During the last minute, top each patty with skyr and cheese if using.
  4. Toast the buns lightly on the grill or toaster until golden brown.
  5. Assemble by layering lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by the patty topped with skyr and cheese. Add tomato and onion slices before drizzling with sriracha.
